It is most commonly used by deaf & dumb people who have hearing or speech problems to communicate among themselves or with normal people. The glove is a normal, cloth driving glove fitted with flex sensors. The sensors output a stream of data that varies with degree of bend made by the fingers. Flex sensors are sensors that change in resistance depending on the amount of bend on the sensor. The proposed system will be able to recognize different hand gestures, and will make deaf-mute person a better quality of life to work in basic situations.
