The Women's Committee at UET New Campus, KSK, organized an awareness seminar on Women's Empowerment to commemorate International Women's Day 2024. The event was well-attended by female faculty, staff, and students of the university. Among the distinguished guests present, were Campus Coordinator Prof. Dr. Shahid Imran, Convener of the Women's Committee Dr. Nida, and Secretary of the Women's Committee, Asma Naeem Khan.

The seminar featured a lineup of accomplished women as guest speakers, who shared their inspiring success stories in their respective fields. Dr. Afia Khalid, Head of the Career Management Cell at LBS, Dr. Sarah Qureshi, a trailblazer in sustainable aviation, leading Pakistan's first eco-jet engine company as an Engineer, Pilot, and Innovator, and Dr. Fariha Mela, Assistant Professor in the Islamic Studies Department at the University of the Punjab, emphasized that success is not merely a bed of roses but a path laden with challenges.

They highlighted that only those who remain steadfast in their pursuit of success ultimately achieve it. The speakers underscored the indispensable role of women in all spheres of life, emphasizing that without their contributions, the vision of a developed and prosperous Pakistan remains unattainable. The event concluded with the distribution of souvenirs among the esteemed guests.
