The purpose of this event was to draw the attention towards shortage of water and increase public understanding to manage freshwater resources. Mr. Tayyab Malik, through his engaging speech and thoughtful panel discussion, enlightened the audience regarding Pakistan's water crisis while mentioning the steps WASA is taking to address this problem. Dr. Amir Ikhlaq talked about how climate change has induced the problem of water contamination and scarcity. He mentioned the methods that were being practiced and researched in order to treat water efficiently like an advanced oxidation process.
