Hassan Munir Anwar resigned not because of audit but getting better job, UET spokesman
Lahore ( ) The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has vehemently denied the news regarding the resignation of the treasurer of the university Mr. Hassan Munir Anwar. He had recently applied for the job in February 2021 this year even before the audit. For which he had also sought permission from the Vice Chancellor UET Prof. Dr. Syed Mansoor Sarwar. While during the audit he received notification of appointment from the new place. After which he resigned from the post of treasurer. The university spokesman added that despite the corona virus and unfavorable conditions over the past two years, the university staff remained present at the university. Controversial and baseless news not only discredited Hassan Munir Anwar but also tarnished the image of the university. The spokesperson demanded to release a denial news to the concerned reporter, channel and newspaper and also demanded an apology. The spokesman said that the concerned persons should apologize otherwise the university and Mr. Hassan Munir Anwar reserve the right to take action against them
