Lahore University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore organized Anti-Corruption awareness walk with the title “Say No to Corruption”. While speaking to the audience Director Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser said, “zero tolerance will be shown against corruption and other malpractices to get the soft and sound image for progress with transparency as a nation.” He further said, “needs and expectations of the public should be addressed properly. This collective approach will definitely eliminate the element of corruption at large and departments will be strengthened and cooperative within the laws.” He added, “corruption is a major problem which can be resolved by adopting the concept of self-realization and regulation. It would be our aim to transform corruption free Pakistan to the upcoming generation who will feel proud and deliver in their respective domains.”At the end of the walk, students presented a street theatre in which they create awareness against corruption and depicted the concept of merit. Registrar Muhammad Asif, Director Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser, Public relations Office Ali Ashraf, Dr. Neelum Naz and a large number of students also participated in awareness walk.
