A syndicate meeting of the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Shahid Munir, Vice Chancellor UET, Lahore. In which all the members of the syndicate unanimously approved a 25% increase in the salaries of teachers and employees. The. This decision will take effect from this month April 2025. Remember that the demand for 25% increase in salaries was pending since last 9 months. After this approval, a wave of happiness has run among the teachers and employees of the university. All including the teaching staff association Employees Associations paid tribute and thanked the leadership of Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Shahid Munir.

On this occasion, Dr. Shahid Munir said that the welfare of the employees is his top priority and such steps will be continued in the future. Prof. Dr. Nasir Hayat, Justice (R) Nazir Ahmad Ghazi, Mujahid Parvez Chatta, Mrs. Zahid Azhar Additional Secretary Higher were present in the meeting. Education Department, Ms. Sajida Vandal, Dr. Naveed Ramzan, Dr. Shazia Arshad, Dr. Adnan Maqbool, Ahmed Naveed, Tariq Iqbal Representative HEC and Additional Secretary Finance were present.
