We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Mamuna Iqbal, a distinguished faculty member from the Department of Architecture, has been awarded the highly competitive "Lilly Reich Grant for Equality in Architecture" by the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, based in Barcelona, Spain. Her project, titled "Transnational Narratives," will feature both a documentary and a journal article, highlighting and celebrating the contributions of South Asian women in architecture. Dr. Iqbal's team includes Igea Troiani, Head of the Architecture Department at London South Bank University, and filmmaker Paula Roush. This remarkable project was selected from 58 submissions across 24 countries.
