Dr. Asif Nadeem Tabish ( Assistant Professor )
Dr. A.N. Tabish is an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering at the University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore. He received his bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2009 and master’s degree in Chemical Engineering with specialization in Process Engineering in 2012, both from UET Lahore. Further, he received doctoral degree in 2019 from Technical University Delft, The Netherlands after successfully defending a dissertation entitled “Investigating Nickel and Ceria Anode Electrochemistry in Multifuel Environments”. Since 2009, he is involved in teaching and research activities and currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical, Polymer, and Composite Materials Engineering, UET Lahore (New campus). Besides, he is coordinating MSc Energy Engineering Program offered by Center for Energy Research and Development (CERAD) and heading departmental Quality Enhancement Cell.
Dr. Tabish has published valuable results related to SOFC electrode electrochemistry and biomass valorization in renowned journals on the subject: Electrochimica Acta, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Energy Sources, Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery, and Journal of Alloys and Compounds to name a few. Further, he has patented a futuristic concept of handling toilet waste entitled “SOFC-Based Toilet waste management system”.
