Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mohsin ( Professor ) 

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mohsin is currently working as Chairman (Professor) at Department of Textile Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Faisalabad Campus, Pakistan. He is also convener OBE & mosque committee at the UET FSD Campus. He is a Charted Colourist and Associate of Society of Dyers and Colourist (SDC), UK. His research areas are Textile Engineering, Sustainable textile, textile recycling, sustainable pretreatment, dyeing and finishing, dyeing with natural dyes, environment friendly cross-linkers, ecofriendly oil and water repellents, mosquito repellents, foam dyeing and finishing. He is working closely with top textile indusrty of the Pakisatn, working on productivity improvement, ZDHC certification, machinery and process imporvemnet. 

He completed his Textile engineering from National Textile University and PhD in Textile Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK. He won PhD scholarship from UET & The University of Manchester, UK. He successfully conducted the industrial trial in Europe for the developed zero formaldehyde cross-linker technology and it is now being used by famous European brands. He has eight patents (granted and applied). He also won research grants from UET-Lahore, University of Manchester UK, HEC, PSF and NGOs. He has supervised over 16 MSc students. He has produced and co-supervised five PhD students on the topic of sustainable fire retardant, eco friendly oil and water repellent for textile, waste treatment by sustianlbe methos like constructed wet let and floating land. He has published over 80 peer reviewed publication, including 48 imapct factor papers, three internatinal book chapters and 20 conference papers.
