Dr. Adnan Maqbool ( Assistant Professor )
Dr. Adnan Maqbool has 13 years of academic, research, and industrial experience in the field of Materials Science. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. Previously, he served as a postdoctoral researcher at Chung-Ang University (CAU). He received his Ph.D. in Nano and Advanced Materials Engineering at Changwon National University (CWNU) from 2012-2015. He worked as a Research Associate (Lecturer) from 2011-2012 in Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Science and Technology, Pakistan. His research interests include lead-free high strain piezoelectric materials for actuator applications and energy harvesting, electroactive polymers and carbon nanotubes-based smart sensors.
Due to his research efforts, he has published ~ 60 international research articles in reputed journals (including 48 SCI papers, 12 Non-SCI papers), and also have ~ 1000+ google scholar citation, which includes renowned journals like Scientific Reports, J. Phys D: Appl Phys, RSC Adv, J. Alloys Compd., J. Am. Ceram. Soc., J. Euro. Ceram. Soc. and Mat. Sci. Eng: B.
He has received various highly competitive travel and research grants including, the National Research Program for Universities - HEC (NRPU), Pakistan Science Foundation and National Foundation of Science China (PSF-NFSC), British Council Taxonomy and Erasmus+ International Credity Mobility Award.
