31st All Pakistan Poetic Symposium

31st All Pakistan Poetic Symposium (Mehfil-e-Mushaira) was organized by Literacy Society University of Engineering and Technology Lahore at auditorium complex of main campus. In this event many famous poets across the country were participated and present their poetry in attractive and unique style for the enjoyment of the audience. Vice Chancellor UET Lahore Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid was the chief guest. Beside this, Deans, faculty members, administration along with a large numbers of students were present. At this moment Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid said while speaking to audience that poetry always represents the link between environment and human’s emotions and felling. In this regards, while giving the example of Allama Iqbal he said that the poetry of Iqbal provided opportunity to think in new way and it pushed the manes to attain independence. He said that poetry has today reventon in the life of nation and individual as well. That’s why UET arranged this program every year which will be remained continued in future to aware the public about the effect use of language and introduce the new ideas of changing world. In the symposium the prominent poets Anwar Masood, Sulman Gillani, Farhat Abbas, Idrees, Abbas Tabish, Hameeda Shaheen, Abbas Tabish and Ali Zariyoon were performed. At the end the shields were distributed to the organizers of the Literary Society.
