Dr. Sajjad H. Sheikh


Graduated in Civil Engineering in 1990, from UET, Lahore. Joined Structures Division of NESPAK in 1990. Also worked in Local Government and Rural Development Department from 1991 to 1992. Subsequently joined Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) as Assistant Engineer. While  at PHED, gained experience of planning, designing, cost estimation, top supervision of water supply and sewerage projects. Joined UET in 2002 as Assistant Professor. Promoted as Associate Professor in 2004 and as Professor in 2009. Presently engaged in teaching, research and advisory services. Authored/co-authored 4 books. Have 49 research publications in peer reviewed International and National journals. Research work is cited in more than 454 international journals and books.  7400 downloads of research papers on ResearchGate. 4 PhD and 28 MSc research thesis supervision. Also contributing to 12 INTERNATIONAL journals for peer review of their research papers. Experience of working with International Agencies (World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UNICEF, USAID, KOICA). Guest speaker at Punjab Engineering Academy. Advisor to Punjab Public Service Comission. Advisor to Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA). Value of h-Index is 8 and i10-Index is 8
